1- When I’m the only one staying at my apartment for extended periods of time, I tend to get increasingly paranoid… sometimes, I panic a little and run and jump onto my bed.

2- I like to go for long runs when it’s pouring out, I find it invigorating.

3- I own more hoodies than a single person could ever need in a lifetime (the same goes for swimsuits, purses and shoes)

4- I have a perfect driving record!

5- I am a proud Canadian, but cannot see myself living here my whole life.

6- I like to bake (usually 1-2x a week), but I rarely actually taste what I’ve baked!

7- Hand washing dishes relaxes me.

8- I am guilty of owning AND using a blackberry AND an iphone!!

9- I’ve traveled more times in the past year than I had in my previous 21 years of life.

10- One of my most prized possession is my beautiful guitar, Sadie.

My new tattoo… It’s there to remind me that no matter what path I chose, I’m a star. It has extra meaning because Demi, my amazing sister, got the same one at the same time. She has just left Montreal to chase her dreams in California and will be gone for a year!

Plan A, which is no longer “plan A” because I found a better one, was originally to go into business school in marketing.  To get into marketing, I needed a few pre-reqs; accounting, economics, calculus… all those fun classes!  So last fall I took accounting and completely by my own doing, I failed it.  In order to raise my GPA (because I no longer actually NEED this class), I’ve decided to re-take it. I am now suffering because I have to be cooped up in a library on beautiful sunny days to make sure I am prepared for a brutal mid-term coming my way on Sunday… wish me luck!

My summer is not going according to plan.  A mid-term in t-minus 3 weeks means no birthday trip to California for me.  There were so many things that I was looking forward to about this trip.  Seeing the coast, exploring on my own, surfing in freezing cold water, seeing family, good friends (like http://rockstarjedi.tumblr.com/), catching a few great shows and celebrating my birthday on a rooftop in Beverly Hills.  I guess all this will have to wait a while longer now. I do, however, have another trip to look forward to.  After my mid-term, I get to head to New York to spend a couple of days with a good friend from Brazil.  I have not seen her in a year and am very much looking forward to our time together!!

It’s 5am and I stayed up all night writing an article.  Waiting until 6:30 so that I can go work out is a decision that I am most likely going to regret when I am with friends tonight watching fireworks.
